Asbestos Worker Refresher
Asbestos Course Description:
This 8-hour course is designed to meet annual refresher training requirements for Arkansas Asbestos Workers license.
The course reinforces knowledge and skills developed during initial Asbestos Worker training course while providing updates on regulatory requirements, industry practices, health and safety considerations for workers.

Learning Outcomes:
- Review and apply current asbestos safety practices and regulatory requirements applicable to asbestos workers and supervisors.
- Demonstrate continued competency in hazard recognition, PPE, decontamination, work practices, and asbestos waste-handling procedures.
Must Know:
- Attendance is mandatory for all
- Must pass both written and practical exams with 70% or better for certification to be awarded
- Daily breaks are scheduled – please bring or plan to get lunch
