OSHA 10-Hour General Industry

Course Description:

This is a 10-hour course designed for entry level employees, this course is a 

combination of mandatory safety topics, optional topics and topics that can be specific to your industry. Students receive an OSHA Training card and course certificate upon completion.

Learning Outcomes:

• Recognize common safety and health hazards encountered in general-industry workplaces and identify appropriate methods for preventing or controlling those hazards.
• Explain employee rights, employer responsibilities, and fundamental safe work practices addressed by OSHA standards.

Must Know:

• Attendance is mandatory for all
• Must pass both written and practical exams with 70% or better for certification to be awarded
• Daily breaks are scheduled – please bring or plan to get lunch
