Course Description:
This is a 30-hour course designed for workers with some safety responsibilities, and is a combination of mandatory safety topics, optional topics and topics that can be specific to
construction. Students receive an OSHA Training card and course certificate upon completion

Learning Outcomes:
- Evaluate construction-site hazards and identify appropriate preventive and corrective measures based on applicable OSHA requirements.
- Apply safety and health principles to support hazard recognition, employee protection, and effective safety practices on construction projects.
Must Know:
- Attendance is mandatory for all
- Must pass both written and practical exams with 70% or better for certification to be awarded
- Daily breaks are scheduled – please bring or plan to get lunch
