Hazwoper 24-Hour
Course Description:
This is a 24-hour course designed for persons with specific limited tasks who are unlikely to be
exposed to hazardous substances over permissible limits as outlined in OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120. Topics include hazard recognition, site safety and health plans, hazard communication, and PPE selection and use.

Learning Outcomes:
- Recognize hazards associated with limited hazardous waste site activities and explain the purpose of site safety and health plans and hazard-control procedures.
- Select and use appropriate PPE and apply safe work practices within the limitations of assigned job duties.
Must Know:
- Attendance is mandatory for all
- Must pass both written and practical exams with 70% or better for certification to be awarded
- Daily breaks are scheduled – please bring or plan to get lunch
