Class IV Wastewater
Course Description:
This is a 24-hour training course designed to provide Class III level Wastewater Operators with the knowledge required to sit for the Municipal Class IV Wastewater License exam administered by DEQ. This course was prepared using the DEQ and ABC Needs-to-Know Criteria. Topics covered in the course include evaluate incoming wastestream/sidestream haracteristics, monitor, evaluate and adjust treatment processes, evaluate and maintain equipment, operate equipment, collect samples and interpret laboratory analyses, perform laboratory analyses, perform security, safety, and administrative procedures, advanced wastewater math.

Must Know:
- Attendance is mandatory for all
- Must pass both written and practical exams with 70% or better for certification to be awarded
