Texas (BPAT) Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester
Course Details:
This is a 40-hour training course designed to train the student in the fundamentals necessary to field-test the various types of backflow prevention assemblies. The course is comprised of a series of lectures and 12-16 hours of hands-on training.

- Identify types of assemblies
- Perform field testing
- Interpret results
- Use testing equipment properly
Must Know:
- Attendance is mandatory for all
- Must pass both written and practical exams with 70% or better for certification to be awarded
- Daily breaks are scheduled – please bring or plan to get lunch
