Basic Water Treatment


Course Description:

This is a 24-hour training course designed to give the student basic knowledge of the treatment of raw water sources into potable water. Water math is also incorporated into the curriculum.

  • Describe basic treatment processes
  • Understand potable water production stages
  • Apply math to treatment
  • Recognize common challenges

Must Know:

  • Attendance is mandatory for all
  • Must pass both written and practical exams with 70% or better for certification to be awarded
  • Daily breaks are scheduled – please bring or plan to get lunch
